Ian Cruickshank's column in the Travel section of the Saturday, July 28th, 2009 edition of the Toronto Star entitled: "Golf Drives On Even In These Rough Times: New courses opening from B.C. to Ontario" contains the following:"....and over in Norland off Hwy 35 the Kuschnereit clan have opened Monck's Landing, a testing nine-hole, Scottish style layout."
